Carles Sanchez Riera is starting an interesting project on Limb girdle muscular dystrophies, entitled "Muscular Diversity", at the La Sapienza University of Rome.

Suffering from Limb girdle muscular dystrophy himself, his goal is to shed light on the muscular differences in the same subject: "Not everything is black or white, there are muscles in our body that work, they could be the key to tackling these diseases"
